5月はまず収穫からスタート
My allotment started harvesting in May.
少ないながらもスナップえんどう
甘みもなかなか♪
The snap garden peas had a poor harvest but they were very sweet.
初イチゴ
This strawberry is first harvest.

レタス、はつか大根、チンゲン菜やミズナの間引き菜などが採れました
There are some lettuce leaves, radishes, and dish thinning of some greens.
They look so fresh!

畑も楽しい季節です
毎日、行っても飽きません
I am enjoying allotment everyday now.
It just comes nice season for allotment.
スナップえんどうの横に植えたチンゲン菜
I planted the green pak choi next to the snap garden peas.
イチゴも続々と実をつけ始めました
The strawberries are bearing many now.
大きいトマトは苗を3本買い、植え付け
I planted three tomatoes.
じゃがいもは各芋3本ずつに間引きし肥糧を加え土寄せ
I thinned some potato sprouts.
I left three potato sprouts for each potato.
And I also fertilized too.
ブラックベリーも勢いを増してきました
A black berry is getting well.
カブも今回は無事に育っています
間引き菜はおひたしや胡麻和え、お味噌汁に重宝しています
The turnips also well in this time.
This dish thinning is very useful.
I cook “Ohitashi”, Goma-ae” and “Miso-soup”.
ミズナの間引き菜はやわらかくサラダに
The potherb mustard.
This dish tinning is nice for salada.
どこからかやってきたピンクの矢車草
疲れた時にほっとします
The cornflower is one of my favorite.

チンゲン菜は食べごろに成長
The green pak chois were just grown to eat.
今年はさつまいも金時を30株、アグロで購入しました
I bought 30 young plants of sweet potato at the garden center in this year.
安納イモ10株、金時に比べたら高いけど冷めても甘いらしいのでお試しに
They are the sweet potato of “An-nou”.
This sweet potato is still sweet when eat cold.
こぼれ種で発芽したカボチャを移植してみました
もしものために去年取っておいた種を4つほど撒いておきました
These pumpkins are self-sown seeds from last year.
I planed another 4seeds for in case.
These seeds also got last year.
関東ではおなじみの下仁田ネギ
旦那様の職場の方から頂きました
我が家からは隣の畑のおじさんから頂いたわけぎ苗をおすそ分け
電話で父に植え方を聞いて。上手く行くかな〜
They are the Shimonita leeks.
My husband got them from his coworker.
We gave him some Wakegi onions.
They came from our next allotment friend.
I asked how to plant the Shimonita leek from my father on the tel.
We hope they are grown well.

ねぎは旦那様担当です
いつまで頑張れるかな？？
These Wakegi onions were given from next allotment men.
This year my husband said he will take charge of the all onions.
How long will he mange of them?
ズッキーニ
去年、水分が足りなく失敗したので今年はマルチを張ってみました
でも、場所がなくて本当は株間を90㎝もあけないといけないのですが50㎝程しか開けられず心配
The courgette
I hadn’t got any courgette last year.
I covered the plastic sheet on the ground for keep water.
一番奥の雑草だらけの場所もやっときれいに
ここは日陰でいいので去年水が足りなく失敗した、いんげんを撒いてみました
There are used to have many weeds.
I planted the kidney beans in this year.
The kidney beans also I hadn’t get any last year.
ラベンダー(フレンチ系)がいち早く開花
脇を通る度に甘い香りが
The lavender has flowers.
I enjoy this sweet smell when I through here.
こちらも別種類のラベンダー
脇からカモミールが出てきました
This is the other lavender.
There the chamomile came next to.
玉ねぎもいよいよ収穫できそうです
葉の根元を折ることで実がさらに大きくなるそうです
The onions get ready harvest soon.

初玉ねぎ
おいしそうでしょ
新たまを使った冷静ポタージュを作ってみました
コンソメと牛乳、塩のみで玉ねぎの甘みを楽しめる一品に
おいしいけどおならが臭いんだよね〜(*^_^*)
This onion is our first harvest.
It looks tasty doesn’t it?
I cooked the cold onion potage.
I only used onions, milk, consommé and salt and it enjoy sweet taste from the onion.
This potage is very delicious but I’ll have the smelly gas after few days.
